We have not listed  the specific individuals who have been researched as our own findings in parish records have  been both corroborated and greatly expanded by a book by John Pitfield and it would be unfair to reproduce his work.  You can find out about his book and make contact with him here.

In the News………..1788

All the Registers belonging to the parish of Bere Regis were burnt on the Fourth Day of June 1788, they being then in the Vicarage House which was reduced to Ashes on that Day.  Witness my Hand, Thos Williams, Vicar
